with Baking Soda
You can easily clean the iron plate with baking soda. Take an equal amount of water and baking soda. Now, Mix both of them and make a thick paste with it. Buff the bottom of the soleplate using an unused thick cloth or towel and the baking powder mixture.
After doing this, take another rag or towel to clean the paste.
