TIPS ON HOW TO MAKE VITAMIN C SERUM AT HOME

You will need:
¼ tsp. l-ascorbic acid powder (available online; make sure it is from a reliable source or you could substitute it with Vitamin C tablets from a good pharma-brand)
2 tsp. distilled water or rose water
1 tsp. glycerine
1 Vitamin E capsule
A small, dark, clean empty glass bottle with a dropper

Method:

Place the Vitamin C powder in the glass bottle and add the distilled water or the rose water into the bottle and shake well, till the powder dissolves completely. Then, add the glycerine to this. Puncture the Vitamin E capsule and squeeze the oil in to the bottle. Shake well and store the bottle in a cool place away from sunlight.

There you have it! Your own Vitamin C serum! Make sure you use this serum within a week and discard the remaining and make a fresh batch

Application:??
At night, cleanse and tone your skin and apply a very small amount of the serum and follow it up with a moisturiser. Expect a small amount of tingling sensation at first. Apply the serum on alternate nights until your skin adjusts to the serum. If the tingling sensation continues even after two weeks of alternate night application, discontinue use.

Remember:??

Use of vitamin C makes the skin sensitive to sunlight, so make sure you use a good sunscreen every day in the morning.

Results:??

Regular use of this serum should make your skin brighter and clear out dark spots and even out skin tone.
