Episode 25

They rushed to the hospital…everywhere
was
rowdy…bodies where being brought
in…ify ran around trying to identify the bodies…to
see if
her mother’s was among them but could
not
find her
“tony…tony..i can’t find mama…where is my
mother..” she yelled as she cried
“ify calm down…lets go and talk to the
doctor
first..” tony said hugging her…he doesn’t
like seeing her cry..it hurts him…just then the
doctor walked in
“doctor…doctor..what is happening..?” mr
clifford asked
“sir…there was an accident and the
victims are being brought it….” the doctor explained
“good…that’s why we’re here…my
daughter in
law’s mother was among the passenger
who
entered that vehicle but we can’t find her here…”
“uumm…sir…have you checked the dead
ones…i’m sorry if i’m being too forward
but
that’s how it is..if she is not here she
should be there..i’m sorry..” he said and walked
away
“heeeeeeeeehh….chimo…nne mo..she
can’t
die…God please…my mother cannot die
ooh..” ify screamed rolling on the floor…tony
tried
to console her…
“ify…ify..calm down…don’t say that…for all
we know she might not be there…lets go
and check first…”
they asked a nurse where the dead one
were
kept and she directed them…they
searched
and searched but could not find her…ify felt
lost and heartbroken…her mother was
the only
family she had left and she is dead…her
mother is dead…
“ify…stop crying….your mother is not dead…i’m sure there is a reasonable
explanation for this..”
“what explanation tony…tell me…how
else can
this be explained..” ify asked
“(sighs)…lets just go home…we’ll come back
tomorrow and check again…i’m sure by
then
we’ll find her…lets just go..”
they left the hospital and went home…ify
didn’t say anything…she went straight to her
room and so did the others…
*knock knock*
a knock on tony’s door woke him up…he
opened and saw ify standing before
him…her eyes were swollen…she obviously had
not stopped crying…
“can i sleep here please..” she said..tony
gave
way and she entered…she went straight
to the bed and laid down…tony laid beside
her….his
desires began to build up…he tossed and
turned trying to fight it but it wasn’t
working….he slipped his hand around her
waist…she only turned to face him….he swallowed hard…he pulled her in and
kissed
her…she responded…..his hands started moving all over her body touching all the sensitive parts making her to feel goosebumps all over her body. And that was how they traveled to wonder land enjoying every second of the sweet moment until they came around and slept of in each other’s arms.

morning…ify woke up tp the ringing
of her phone…she did not recognise the
number “hello…who is this..?” she asked
“please…i’m i speaking with mrs ifaechi smith..??’” the caller asked “yes…you are”
“ok…this is doctor troy speaking…there is
a
woman here claiming to be your
mother..and…
“what does she look like” ify asked interrupting

Episode 26

Mr ferdnardo dressed up…he was getting
ready to go to the hospital…he had been
diagnosed of having kidney disorddiagnosed of having kidney disorder and
needed a transplant….the doctor called
that they had found a match….he got in his
car and
drove off….he got to the hospital and
went
straight to the doctor…
“hello doctor.” he greeted “hello sir…good morning…please have a
seat”
he said gesturing with his hand..he sat
down..
“doc please go straight to the point…” mr
ferdnard said “uumm…like i said before..we’ve found a
match but its not in the state…we need
money
to send it down here and…
“doctor…you know money is not the
problem…just tell me the amount needed..”
mr ferdnard said
“ok sir..uummm
they were interrupted as someone
opened the
door and stepped into the office… “doctor…have you called her..??…why is
she
not here yet..?” a woman asked….the
voice
sounded so farmiliar…it reminded him of
cynthia…he turned around to look at who spoke…he was shocked
“oh my God…cynthia..?”
“chineke….ferdnard..??
！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！
！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！
“tony…tony…wake up…they have found mama..” ify shook tony….tony who was
reluctant to get up rolled over..grabbing
ify
and pulled her back into the bed…ify
could
not help but laugh “last night was the best night of my entire
life..” tony said
“ooh please…i know you’re lying..”
“look at me ify…i know you can tell when
i’m
lying…do i look like i’m lying..??” ify looked at tony and saw sincerity im his
eyes
“but you do know we broke the contract
right..??” ify asked a bit worried
“f**k the contract….it was broken three
months ago when i fell in love with you..i love
you ify…infact..” he stood up…took out
the
contract from where he kept it and tore
it…
“the contract no longer stands…we’ll do an
official wedding…i can’t imagine my official wedding…i can’t imagine my life
without you in it…i want you to be mine..”
tony said….ify just stared at him…she
didn’t imagine this day would
ever come… “do you mean that..??” ify asked for
confirmation
“i do…with all my heart…please do say
no..”
“hmmmmmm…i’ll think about it but
for…lets go get my mom…”
they took their baths…dressed up….woke
up
mr clifford and they headed to the
hospital

“cynthia…how are you..??..why are you in
the
hospital..?’ mr ferdnardo asked
“i’m fine ferdnardo…the bus i was in was involved in an accident…luckily i was not
in
the bus at the time of the accident..how
are
you..??..life has been good to you ooh.”
cynthia said looking at him “yea…yea…but what happened to you
cynthia…i looked for you everywhere…wh
at
happened to our baby..??” he asked
just then ify…tony and mr clifford came
in…mr ferdnardo was surprised to see them
“nne..nne..how are you..??” ify asked but
her
mother did not respond…
“cynthia…is she the one..??..is she my
daughter..??” ferdnardo asked “daughter..??..what is going on here…do
you
two know each other..??” mr clifford
asked
“yes…he..he..he is your real father ify..”
cynthia said amidst tears… “no.no…no..this can’t be happening…so i
was
plotting the death of my son in law..??”
mr
ferdnard lamented…just then he saw
flashes of red light on tony..he tried to signal the
guys
he hired to stop but it was too late..they
fired
the gun but before it could reach tony..mr
ferdnard pushed him and took the bullet.. “heeeehh…doctor…nurse…somebody
help..”
cynthia yelled….ify stood there
shocked…tony
and mr clifford were just as surprised…so
mr ferdnardo was pretending to be friendly
all
along..??

“doctor..how is he..??” ify asked “he is fine…he is a very lucky man…the
bullet
did not hit any of his vital organs but the
problem is his kidney…he needs a
transplant
urgently and the match we found is taking
time to reach here..” the doctor t
“so what do we do now…?” cynthia asked
“uuummm…i could run a test on all of
you…one of you might be a match..” he
said “ok..ok.go ahead..”
the doctor ran the test and it turns out
tony’s
was a perfect match… “what do you
mean…i
should donate a kidney to the man who planned on taking my life..no way.” tony
said
