HOW TO MAKE SARDINE BREAD AT HOME

For those of you who love fish sandwiches, bread and sardine with all its juices, then you would love this bread
Make your sardine bread at home with these recipe and steps

4 Cups of all purpose flour (or bread flour)

3 Tablespoons of bread yeast

3 Tablespoons of sugar

1/2 Tablespoon of salt

7 Tablespoons of butter

250 ml of warm milk

10 Tablespoons of water

2 Eggs

1 Tin of sardine

A large bowl

Egg and milk for glazing

Preparation
Step 1: Mix Your warm milk and yeast together and leave aside for at least 15 minutes until it is foamy.

Step 2: Mix the flour, sugar and salt together and thoroughly in a bowl then add the whisked eggs. Mix properly using a spatula or your hand. Then you add the melted butter and mix thoroughly.

Step 3: Add your yeast and milk and mix thoroughly (you can use a mixer or your hands) till it becomes a dough. The dough will become sticky and soft.

Step 4: Place the dough on a floured surface so as not to stick on the surface. Sprinkle flour on the dough too.

Step 5: Knead your dough on the surface with your hands or a roller, whichever is most convenient. knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 6: Return dough to the bowl and cover with a neat white piece of cloth. Place bowl in the oven and let it stay there for about an hour. After an hour, knead the dough again for about 5-7 minutes and put back in the oven for another 45 minutes so that it will rise. Bring out then knead again.

Step 7: Mash your sardine. Then add the mashed sardine, sardine oil and knead. Now place dough in bread pan coated with butter and evenly spread evenly in your pan.

Step 8: Put a white piece of cloth over the pan containing the dough and leave to rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes. Preheat your oven at 280 degrees.

Step 9: When oven is ready, place the pan in oven and bake for 80 minutes. Bring out to air and it’s ready.
