How To Make Date Syrup
Dates are a natural sweetener that contains vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants and amino acids.
Dates can make a great healthy substitute for white sugar due to the nutrients they provide.
Dates also contain boron which is among the nutrients that promotes healthy bones
1 and half cup of dates
2 cups of water
Cheese cloth ( that material used of making pap)
How its Made
– Put the dates in a pot a d add 2 cups of water and cook on medium heat till it boils and the dates soften very well
-take a wooden spoon and mash the dates very well, allow it to cook for 5mins. Bring it down from the stove and allow it to cool.
-put the cheese cloth on top of a clean pot and pour the date mixture into the cheese cloth,tie and squeeze it as much as you can, the liquid will keep pouring out, don’t leave any behind.
-put the pot of liquid back in the fire and boil it on low heat. When it starts boiling stir till it thickens to the consistency of your choice. Take it off the stove. Allow it to cool,then pour into an airtight container. Store in the fridge.
