How to bake fruit cake
Ingredients
500g Butter
300g Sugar
600g Flour
6 eggs
1/2 tsp Mixed Spice
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Cinnamon, ground
Mixed fruits or Raisins, as desired
Browning
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
Preparation
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Sift flour and other dry ingredients.
Beat eggs till light and fluffy
Put eggs into butter mixture alternating with the dry ingredients
Pour in the fruits, browning and your flavour
Pour into an 8 inch pan and bake in a pre-heated oven
