Sometimes, dark circles are inevitable but there are many home remedies that can make them go away and make you look fresh in no time.

1. Cucumbers

Chances are that you have seen this used by older female relatives and female characters on TV and it turns out, it works. Cucumbers have mild astringent properties, which means they can tighten and lighten your skin.

To use cucumbers, chop some thick slices, let them cool in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Place them on your skin for 10 minutes and rinse with water.

2. Teabags

Another amazing style is to use teabags. Ordinary tea had caffeine and antioxidants that can help to soothe strained blood vessels under the eyes.
Soak 2 tea bags in hot water for 5 minutes then place them in the refrigerator to cool for 20 minutes. Place them over your eyes for 10 minutes and rinse with water.

3. Tomato and Lemon

Tomatoes have vitamin C and lycopene, which is great for skin and when applied, can make skin supple and softer.

Mix equal parts of tomato juice and lemon juice and then using a cotton ball, apply the mixture to your dark circles. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes then rinse off with water.

NB: If you apply the tomato and lemon mixture, take care to avoid contact with sunlight. Don’t go outside or stand close to open windows. Also, lemon juice can sting in your eyes!

4. Potatoes

Raw potatoes have lots of vitamin C that is great for skin, which is great for eye bags. You can use potatoes as you would with cucumbers but you can also grate them and extract the juice.

Place cotton or makeup remover pads soaked in the potato and place them on your eyes for 10 minutes.

5. Milk

Dairy products are great with vitamin A which helps skin look bright and young.

Place cotton balls soaked in cold milk on your eyes for 10 minutes and rinse off with cold water.

You can also mix milk and tumeric both recipes are wonderful on skin
