FACE EXFOLIATION WITH HOMEMADE SUGAR SCRUB WITH COCONUT, HONEY & ORANGE

Gently exfoliating the face is a great way to get rid of those dead skin cells to give your skin a youthful glow. And that is exactly what this homemade sugar scrub will do for you. It offers a deep cleanse, which is much-needed given the environmental toxins we are subjected to every day. This cleansing process helps reduce the buildup of bacteria, which can get into the pores of the skin. When this happens, it can cause the skin to be unhealthy and even break out, creating unwanted inflammation.
Exfoliating is helpful, but only if you are using the right facial scrub ingredients. Making your own facial scrub is so easy and much better for your skin than so many of those off-the-shelf face scrubs. Make your own homemade sugar scrub with natural ingredients like coconut, honey, and orange essential oil. Let’s get to it!

INGREDIENTS:
· 2 tablespoons coconut oil
· 1 teaspoon raw honey
· 4 tablespoons organic brown sugar
· 6 drops orange essential oil
· 6 drops tea tree essential oil

Directions:
In a small jar, add the coconut oil and honey.
Add the sugar and blend well.
Next, add the essential oils
Blend all of the ingredients together.
Store in a tight-lidded jar in a cool, dark place.
To exfoliate the face, start with clean skin. Once you have cleansed the skin, gently pat it dry, leaving a bit of the moisture on the skin. Use a spoon or small spatula to scoop out a little facial scrub — never use your fingers so that you avoid bacteria entering the container.
Stand over the sink or apply it in the shower to minimize any mess. Just gently rub the sugar scrub over your face and neck and use the extra on your hands to soften them. Avoid getting too close to the eyes.
Once you have covered your face and neck, allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then gently rinse with warm water. Pat your skin dry. Apply a dab of coconut oil or try this Lavender and Coconut Oil Moisturizer. Do this once or twice a week for soft, supple and glowing skin!
