SKIN TREAT : FACE BRIGHTENING AND MATTIFYING MASK – #SkinTreat – We all can’t have access to great skincare products and other times , even if we do, we feel a sense of satisfaction knowing we are physically doing something to help our skin.
Today we would be having a face brightening mask with items we can source from our kitchen pantry.
We would be using rice water, gotten from parboiled rice, thick rice water, add ten drops of glycerin and aloe gel ( aloe gel is optional), then a teaspoon of turmeric and a handful of hibiscus flower also known as zobo leaves and egg whites.
Ensure the mask is thick, steam your face well, which is by rinsing your face with cool water, apply Shea butter or a thick moisturizer over damp skin, steam your face over a bucket of hot water till it drips sweat, rinse off with cool water.
Apply the mask . Leave for thirty minutes then wash off.
The rice contains brightening properties and also mattifying the skin to avoid oiliness yet hydrating with the glycerin, the zobo leaves will provide exfoliation, turmeric will brighten and exfoliate and mattify too, egg whites will tighten and uplift and your steamed face will easily absorb all these goodness!
Apply a hydrating serum afterwards or glycerin and enjoy your glow up !
