Know this truth about onion

At times you may buy large quantity of onions and you will notice after sometime, some will start sprutting out below green leaves. These green leaf are actually what becomes spring onions.
Instead of rushing off to use the onion, allow it to grow more or if you have a planting jar with good loamy soil, open the soil a little, put the onions with the green leaf a little visible upwards. Within 2 weeks, you will have lots of spring onions smiling at you.

At least 6 different onions that has started sprutting out the green leaves can give you a jar filled with spring onions.
