HIBISCUS RECIPES
Hibiscus is popular because of its ability to stimulate hair growth from dormant hair follicles resulting in thicker hair. The flower is an efficient remedy to treat hair fall, encourage regrowth, and prevent premature graying.

1) DIY HIBISCUS HAIR OIL TO STIMULATE HAIR GROWTH
Ingredients
10 hibiscus flowers
10 hibiscus leaves
1 cup of coconut, olive or almond oil

Process
*Wash the hibiscus flowers and leaves and then grind them into a fine paste.
*Heat one cup of oil in a saucepan and add the hibiscus paste to it.
*Heat the mixture for a couple of minutes on low heat while stirring continously until all the moisture evaporates. Turn off the flame and allow the oil to cool.
*Once the oil has cooled, store the oil in a bottle.
*Use atleast 3 times a week for effective results.

2) HIBISCUS DEEP CONDITIONING TREATMENT

The conditioning properties of hibiscus soften the hair and make it more manageable, while the amino acids nourish the hair follicles.

Ingredients
*Hibiscus flowers( quantity depends on the length of your hair and thickness)
*Water
* 1 tablespoon Honey (optional)

Procedure
*Crush the hibiscus flowers and add the other ingredients to get a consistent paste.
*Apply this paste on your scalp and hair and wait for an hour.
*Rinse the paste out of your hair with lukewarm water.
* Use 2 times a week.

3) GINGER AND HIBISCUS LEAVES FOR HAIR REGROWTH

Ingredients
*1/2 cup ginger juice
*3 tablespoons crushed hibiscus flowers

Procedure
*Combine the ingredients in a bowl until you get a smooth consistency.
*Working in sections, massage the paste into your scalp and then work it down to the tips of your hair.
*Leave on your hair for 30 minutes then wash your hair with lukewarm water.
*Use twice a week

Alternatively
*You can mix the hibiscus paste into the ginger juice and extract the solution.
*Add essential oils into the mixture to curb the ginger smell and use it as a leave in.
*Use everyday and store in a fridge for no more than one week
